DOWTHERM™ 4000
DOWTHERM™ 4000 is specially formulated with inhibitors to offer greater thermal stability and corrosion protection. The fluid is dyed fluorescent orange to aid in leak detection. It features the highest maximum use temperature of any glycol.
DOWTHERM™ 4000 is manufactured with 100% virgin ethylene glycol. Never blended with other glycol streams (and do not contain recycled glycol) as a means of ensuring maximum fluid lifetime. Dow fluids are specially formulated with heavy-duty industrial inhibitor packages that prevent corrosion. The inhibitors are easily maintained, long-lasting, and replenishable, which means intervals between fluid changeouts are extended, and fluid expense is minimized.
